Our mission is to create handcrafted functional products out of natural resources which will last for generations. We prefer to use high quality full grain leather which is a byproduct of the meat industry. We pride ourselves on transforming each piece of leather into a beautiful, handcrafted, functional, and durable product.
High Quality Handcrafted Leather Cup Sleeves
- Cut by hand from 4-5 oz Full Grain Vegetable Tanned Leather
- Hand tooled: Personalize your sleeve with your choice of tooling designs from our available selection
- Hand sewn using Ritza 25 Polyester Tiger Thread (0.8mm)
- Final top coat of Moobuzz® (100% Pure Neatsfoot Oil and Beeswax) for an all natural water resistance
Each sleeve is made from Full Grain Vegetable Tanned Leather which is the highest quality and most durable cut of the leather you can purchase. Full Grain Leather is the strongest of all cuts of leather, it retains and displays the history of the animal – the scars, scrapes, rough spots, and character that is unique to each animal. We use Full Grain Leather because it is the toughest and most rugged cut of leather available and will last for decades.
We don’t add in any artificial dyes or colors to our cup sleeves. The color of the sleeve is unique and is determined by the leather itself. We can’t tell what color the sleeve will become until we start the conditioning process with 100% Pure Neatsfoot Oil which is a natural preservative for leather articles subjected to rugged use and outdoor exposure.

Hand sewn using Ritza 25 Polyester Tiger Thread (0.8mm)
Ritza 25 Tiger Thread is a waxed polyester thread made by Julius Koch in Germany.
The thread is finely braided, flattened, and extremely strong. We prefer Polyester thread for its added strength, durability, and excellent sunlight (UV) resistance.
Northeast Craft Goods utilizes Ritza Tiger Thread exclusively because of its rich colors, quality, and durability.
